'We shall see the day promised to us in the book of eternity. The day when governments will fall, when the idols will be broken and lifted, when reprobates will rule, when only the name of Allah will remain and when Allah's people will rule. We shall see.

I really don't care who wrote this, in what context, in what language, and when. If this is being used in India to mobilize a non-Urdu literate crowd against the legitimately elected government of the people - it's culturally and morally wrong. No amount of whataboutery about the greatness of Faiz, the beauty of Urdu, the context when the nazm was written or by whom it was melodiously sung; masks the fact that it is an open call for annihilation of Kaffirs and legitimate governments to establish an Islamic state.

As someone who was thrown out of my own home by Nizaam-e- Mustafa chants, this is a dog whistle to all Hindus. Sometime ago I heard a Sikh gentleman shouting 'yehan kya chalega, Nizaam-e-mustafa' in Kashmir with no cognisance of the Gurus who gave their life for 'tilak and janaeu'. Without understanding, everyone has clung on to the Aazadi bandwagon. I am shocked to see Hindus themselves shouting 'kaffiron' sey aazadi, without realising that they are giving a clarion call for their own mass extinction to an obliging audience. Hindu symbols and Gods - not leaders, not political parties- are being derogated through false equivalence to Nazi imagery; and Hindus are watching as if in trance.

Citizen's Amendment Act 2019 is about giving persecuted Hindus from Islamic countries refuge in India. If there's no space for Hindus in India where will they go? But this innocent act of magnanimity; which has incidentally been waiting for 70 long years; has been completely hijacked by those who can't see these vulnerable communities get succour.

The streets are full of rioters who are destroying public property in the name of protest. The TV studios are full of false intellectuals who are giving cover to the vandals and criminals. Self-righteous so-called journalists are screaming blue murder in the name of Beef and Ram Mandir judgement to the Western Media. Bollywood nincompoops are copy-pasting scripts from WhatsApp groups of known terrorist organisations. Common man has been pulled on to the street by scaring the day-lights out of him about all issues from onion-garlic prices to imaginary detention camps. Mayhem is being projected. Pro-CAA peaceful rallies are being ignored but known terrorist sympathisers are being interviewed as Sheros.

Enough! The whole ecosystem has come together to dog-whistle against the Hindus. India is the last cultural, religious and civilizational bastion of polytheism and coexistence. Every Hindu must rise to protect their home with whatever courage they have. The blood that our ancestors shed to protect Dharma lies in waste if we are apologetic about our own existence.  If India fails, the whole human experiment of coexistence and harmony will fail; and so, will fail the blood of those died protecting the Sanatana Dharma. Hindus don't deserve to be killed just because some people of the book feel threatened by us. Hindus will not let their idols be broken this time to be replaced by the shrill monologue of one sound.

Hum bhi dekhenge!
