The Third World Hindu Congress concluded in Thailand with a commitment to foster global connections among Hindus and derive strength for the betterment of the world through the life values inherent in Hinduism.
The organizers of the World Hindu Congress have announced that the next congress will take place in Mumbai in 2026. Preceding this, the World Hindu Economic Forum is scheduled to be organized in Mumbai in September of the following year. The forum will include an expo featuring Hindu businessmen from various countries.
During the event, Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale, the President of the conference and a representative of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), delivered an address to approximately 2,200 delegates hailing from 61 countries worldwide.
Hosabale said, "Swami Vivekananda had told Hindus to conquer the world with their spirituality, and I think that material progress and spiritual progress will make us realise the great motto of the World Hindu Congress, which is Jayasya Aayatanam Dharma"
Milind Parande, the International General Secretary of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), emphasized that the strength of Hindus is directed towards ensuring the well-being of humanity and not to instill fear in anyone.
The conference featured approximately 50 parallel sessions, concentrating on seven key sections: economy, education, academia, media, politics, youth, and women. Over 50 delegates from around 30 countries actively engaged in sessions of the Political Forum, while more than 650 delegates took part in sessions hosted by the Hindu Economic Forum. Dedicated investment consultations were arranged for startups, resulting in the immediate approval of three proposals.
Mata Amritanandamayi Amma said, "Today the number of such people is increasing in the world, and the source of love and selfless service is drying up. There is only one solution to this, and that is the restoration of religion! This is the only way to save the world and humanity. It is becoming necessary to carry out focused work with such conferences.
The event commenced with the lighting of a lamp, symbolizing the 'Victory of Dharma.' Eminent figures including saint Mata Amritanandamayi, Swami Purnatmanand of Bharat Sevashram Sangh, Sarsanghchalak Mohanrao Bhagwat of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale, General Secretary of Vishwa Hindu Parishad Milind Parande, and founder of the World Hindu Foundation Swami Vigyananand inaugurated the conference.
