It was predicted here that the entertainment industry, often known as Bollywood or Urduwood, would meet its end during the pandemic1. More like the industry had begun the harakiri process slightly before 2020, and the pandemic has only helped the Raam Naam Satya process of the vile, anti-Hindu, and corrupt industry.
The industry has been struggling ever since theatres were closed due to social distancing precautions. However, it seems that the public too underwent an awakening of things they did not necessarily need in life or things they could live without during the pandemic, with entertainment being one such thing. Though OTT platforms worked hard to churn out binge-worthy shows, much of the content still reflected anti-dharmic content, with sadhus and pandits being shown as evil godmen and Hindus being shown as perpetrators of violence against the oh-so-oppressed Muslims. There was plenty of content showing sex jihad, also politely known as love jihad where a Hindu female gladly accepts a Muslim man in her life as he seems to be the best option for her given her needs in society. This exemplified the height of both hypocrisy, pandering, and at the same time secular brainwashing of the kafir mind.
Bollywood as a sewage industry has been doing this for many years 2. Films from the 50s till now are replete with themes that mock Hindu deities and show Muslims in a better light. Bollywood and Dawood and his gang have made Indians second-guess their religion, their rituals, and their Brahmin priests and roles in society. Bollywood has normalized the insulting of deities in the guise of angry young men questioning and discarding gods. Jihadi coolies like Amitabh Bachchan and his anti-Hindu, communist wife have been influencing millions and shaping the attitudes of generations with their pro-Muslim, anti-Hindu garbage.
Other themes visible in Bollywood relate to misogyny where heroes like Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Ajay Devgn, and Akshay Kumar are seen harassing females in films and sexual harassment of women is sold as a courtship ritual. Acceptance of harassment on screen often leads to acceptance of harassment on the streets. However, this phenomenon is given the soft label - eve teasing by narrative setters. Item girls, the portrayal of women as oppressed until a Muslim persona with a fake Hindu name comes as a savior further normalizes the misogyny aspects.
The Khans marrying and remarrying Hindu women and producing kids named after jihadis speaks a thousand words to the impressionable young minds who think of women like Kiran Rao and Kareena Kapoor Khan not as independent women but as Sharia-compliant elites who have made the right choice in their secular lives. Not to forget the filmy influence of love triangle stories which normalize premarital sex where the likes of Aishwarya Rai show the way of having relations with a Muslim playing a Hindu on screen, duping millions by the subtle message of sex jihad.
Smoking, drinking, and all types of naked debauchery are justified in front of the wild Shiva-Shambho under the pretense of free-spiritedness and fake spirituality. The latest, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 3, and many others which have come before portray Tantrics and priests as corrupt, evil, and harmful societal elements. These messages are put forth by anti-dharmic writers, directors, Muslim actors, and worse, idiotic Hindu actors who eat jihadi money to sell anti-Hindu elements to society. As the @GemsofBollywood founder explains 2, the caste system is further etched in the Hindu minds via films where the Brahmins are evil and superstitious, the Kshatriyas are bloodthirsty and intolerant and the Baniyas are shown to be greedy and unfair in their trade. The Shudras are often shown to side with minorities who come to their aid as messiahs to free them from the bloody "upper class" Hindus who supposedly continue to harm their existence.
Overrepresentation of minorities in films and shows (Mai, The Fame Game) and catering of Hindus to Muslims is subtly seen in films like Runway 34 where a Muslim hijabi character with a baby is on a doomed flight and her husband is catered to by the skyline with minute-to-minute updates while the rest of the passengers don't get much sympathy and treatment. Even regional films are being called out for their anti-dharmic content, wokeness, and ill-conceived messages geared toward the masses (4, @gemsofsouthwood). The evil of Bollywood has run its course and people are calling out jihadi actors like Aamir Khan and running campaigns like #BoycottLalSinghChaddha, a predicted failure primarily due to a lame and recycled plot.
With a big budget, anti-Hindu shows and flops such as Tandav, Sacred Games, Leila, Shamshera, woke disasters such as Raksha Bandhan, Jayeshbhai Jordar, and Munna Michael, and the advent of nepotism-free talent as seen in shows like Panchayat, and films like Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, let's continue to hope that we will keep celebrating the anniversary where we marked THE END of Bollywood and pay a special thanks to the pandemic serving as the great window of opportunity. May the perpetrators never rest in peace.
