MSI, a laptop brand from Taiwan, has announced its plans to manufacture laptops in India. The company stated that two models, the MSI Modern 14 and MSI Thin 15, are now being produced at its factory in Chennai. To make these laptops more available, MSI has teamed up with major retail stores like Croma and Reliance Retail.

John Hung, General Manager for Notebooks at MSI India, emphasised how important India is to the brand. He explained that the growing tech market and increased demand for advanced laptops in India have led MSI to begin local production. This decision improves MSI’s efficiency and shows the brand’s dedication to providing innovative, high-performance products designed for Indian users.

The MSI Modern Series is intended for people who appreciate convenience, performance, and style in equal measure. These laptops are perfect for work and play because of their lightweight design, large storage capacity, dependable connectivity and extended battery life. For daily chores, artistic endeavours, or relaxation, the Modern 14 offers seamless multitasking encased in an elegant design. The starting price of the MSI Modern 14 is Rs 52,900.

With plans for more advanced models in the future, this series provides excellent performance at a good value. The India-made Thin 15 laptops are priced starting at Rs 73,990.
