Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh was formed in 1924 with the goal to unite Hindus who were divided on the basis of caste and religious faith. The motto and goal of the Sangh are to carry the nation to the pinnacle of glory, by organizing the entire society and ensuring the protection of Sanatan Dharma and Vedic traditions. The present head of the organization who is referred as Sarsangchalak Shri. Mohanji Bhagwat. The backbone of the organisation hierarchy is thousands of full-time Pracharaks who voluntarily render services to allied organizations as per the requirements.
The virtues of placing nation above self, make RSS Swayamsevaks the first responders during natural crises be it earthquakes or floods. They do not seek any publicity as they consider selfless service to mother India their greatest reward. The RSS was invited by Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru to take part in the Republic Day parade of 1963 in recognition of its volunteer work during the Sino-Indian War in 1962. During the Indo-Pakistan War of 1965, Indian Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri requested RSS cadres to help control traffic in Delhi, so policemen could be freed for defense duties. In the 1971 Bangladesh War of Independence, RSS volunteers offered their services to maintain law and order in the country and were apparently the first to donate blood.
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and its affiliate organization SEWA BHARTI the community service arm undertake social work for underprivileged and economically weaker sections of society. Apart from carrying out relief activities during natural disasters, the organization has catered to more than one hundred thousand service projects in remote areas of the country. Sewa Bharati is reported to have 17,500 projects in education, 12,000 in health care, 26,000 in social welfare and 9238 self-reliance projects. These projects, serve the economically weaker and socially neglected sections of society ranging from medical assistance, crèche, library, hostel, basic education, adult education, vocational and industrial training, upliftment of street children and the lepers. The affiliate organization is involved in the welfare of tribal people to counter the conversion activities carried out by Christian missionaries. The educational wing was founded in 1977 to coordinate the network of Schools - 'Saraswati Shishu Mandirs' and 'Saraswati Vidya Mandirs'. The organization runs 12850 schools and 49 colleges across India. Religion is not a criterion to study in these schools. There are approximately 80,000 Muslim and Christian students also in these schools along with Hindus or students from any other religious background. The socio-political organization has wings for women, students, and minorities to integrate them with the broader ideas and goals of the organization
Global left consisting of western advocacy groups, media, universities, research and academia have constantly tried to paint a distorted image of 'Hindutva' equating it with fascism and amplifying the false narrative of alleged persecution of minorities by the nationalist Modi government.
The advocacy groups in the west under the banner of Coalition Against Genocide, Indian American Muslim Council, Forum of Inquilabi Leftists, Hindu for Human Rights, Alliance for a Democratic and Secular South Asia, India Civil Watch, International South Asia Forum, etc have constantly attacked Hinduism and have supported groups in India who have supported violent Maoist violence, churning Hindu phobic articles maligning revered Hindu Deities, attributing the sacred Bhagwad Gita to violence and outrageous oppressive as well.
The Global left in recent times has tried to run a dedicated campaign to equate the ancient revered symbol of 'Swastik' with Hitler’s Nazi symbol of 'Hakenkreuz'. The Nazi symbol is distinct from the 'Swastik' with four dots missing and the arms turned to 45 degrees. In reality, the Nazi symbol resembles the hooked cross. The Global Left has hijacked the 'Swastik' and portrayed it as the graphic embodiment of intolerance.
In many European countries including Germany, public display of Nazi symbols is prohibited by law, and violating such terms is a criminal offense. Last year departments of over 50 American universities, like Harvard, Princeton, New York, Cornell, and Stanford held a three-day virtual conference titled 'Dismantling Global Hindutva' as part of their nefarious agenda to discredit the Narendra Modi Government, RSS with the sole aim to dislodge the popularly elected nationalist government in 2024 Lok Sabha Elections.
The Global Left is determined to create a distorted Hyper Hindutva image to confuse the electorate before the elections. The vicious and vitriolic campaign has been growing exponentially to disturb peace and harmony in our country through funding disgruntled elements to mass mobilize and paint an intolerant and distorted image of the country. The Shaheen Bagh, farmer’s agitation, denying vaccine components last year, and delay in recognizing Indian vaccines by the WHO are attempts by the Global Left and their front organization to derail Indian growth. Seizure of unused funds worth Rs 1.77 crore relief fund from the account of Washington Post journalist and face of the left-liberal cabal in India Rana Ayyub gives a cursory account of the huge amounts of funds pumped to destabilise the country.
