PM Modi vows to propel India's growth over next five years at Varanasi rally

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed prizes to the winners of Sansad Pratiyogita in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. The ceremony took place at Banaras Hindu University, coinciding with PM Modi's two-day visit to the city. Additionally, he launched two books on Kashi during the event.
The Indian prime minister said, “A lot of development has taken place in Kashi in the last 10 years. Two books on complete information about Kashi have also been launched here today.”
He added, “The journey of development that Kashi has undertaken in the last 10 years, every stage of it, and the culture here has also been described in this book."
He further affirmed that the young generation empowers Kashi, stating, "The young generation responsibly empowers the identity of Kashi, which is considered more ancient than time itself. This scene satisfies my heart, fills me with pride, and instills confidence that the youth will lead the country to new heights in Amrit Kaal."
PM Modi attended the 647th birth anniversary celebrations of Sant Guru Ravidas, where he paid homage to the saint by offering a floral tribute and unveiled his statue. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath accompanied him during the event.
During his address at BHU in Varanasi, PM Modi affirmed that his constituency had witnessed significant development over the past decade. "Kashi is the capital of all knowledge, its power and prominence are once again emerging," he stated.
He emphasized the pride this resurgence brings to India, attributing it to the divine influence of Mahadev. "We all are just instruments; Mahadev is the one who facilitates development in Kashi," he added.
PM Modi expressed his belief that Mahadev is pleased with the current state of affairs in Kashi, leading to a decade of widespread development. "With his blessings, Kashi has witnessed development in all directions," he remarked.
He highlighted Kashi's status as a global center for knowledge, research, and peace, drawing people from across the country and around the world. "People from every province, language, dialect, and custom have come and settled in Kashi," he noted.
"In the next five years, the country will see a new pace of development. With this confidence, the country will create new patterns of success and this is Modi's guarantee," asserted PM Modi.
"Kashi is going to be beautified. Roads will be built, bridges will be built, buildings will also be built but here I have to beautify the people, beautify every heart and beautify it by becoming a servant, beautify it by becoming a companion," he added.
"PM Modi attacks INDIA bloc, accusing them of prioritizing their 'parivar' over the welfare of the poor during his address in Varanasi. He asserts that the alliance engages in caste-based politics and opposes schemes benefiting Dalits and the deprived."

PM Modi inaugurated Banas Kashi Sankul, a milk processing unit of Banaskantha District Cooperative Milk Producers Union Ltd located at UPSIDA Agro Park, Karkhiyaon, Varanasi. He inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of multiple development projects worth more than Rs 13,000 crore in Varanasi.
