Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP leader N. Chandrababu Naidu, along with Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan, at a large public gathering held on Friday, expressed support to the Prime Minister. Both leaders extended full support to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Centre’s response to the recent terror attack in Pahalgam.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for projects worth Rs 58,000 crore in Amaravati. Today, his allies in Andhra Pradesh extended strong support to him, as tensions between India and Pakistan rose after the recent terror attack in Pahalgam.
Terrorists shot and killed twenty-six people, mostly tourists, at the Baisaran meadows in Pahalgam on April 22. This attack has been one of the worst terror strikes on civilians in Kashmir in recent years.
During his speech, Naidu told Prime Minister Modi that all five crore people of Andhra Pradesh stand with him in the fight against terrorism.
Naidu said, “We are with you, PM Modi. The five crore people of Andhra Pradesh are with you, the entire country is with you." He added, “Despite being deeply saddened by the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, PM Modi still attended today’s event, which reflects his unwavering commitment. We fully support him in taking strong decisions to combat terrorism."
Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan also expressed his support for Prime Minister Modi. He said that Modi had ensured justice for the victims of the Pahalgam attack.
Kalyan said, “The Pahalgam terrorist attack has been the darkest day for the entire country. Blood was spilled in Kashmir, which created tremors in the entire nation. I have seen and witnessed the pain of the victims."
He added, “Honourable PM Modi is leading the country through these tough times, and he assured all the citizens that stern actions will be taken against the perpetrators of terrorism.”
Kalyan praised the Prime Minister for “carrying the nation’s burdens” during this challenging time.
Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh also praised Prime Minister Modi. He called him the “architect of Bharat” and described him as “the missile that gives a strong reply to Pakistan."
Lokesh said, “Even if a hundred Pakistanis come together, they can’t pluck a single blade of grass in India.”
He added that the Pakistani army is shaken and resigning out of fear. Lokesh said that under Modi’s leadership, India’s security, pride, and strength have been firmly safeguarded.
He also praised the Centre’s decision to conduct a caste census, calling it a historic and courageous move. Lokesh said that Modi had taken a step that previous governments had avoided.
