The Pakistan Army's 600 SSG (Special Service Group) commandos have been identified and some of them have already infiltrated into Jammu and Kashmir and are carrying out terror attacks. According to a revelation made by the former Director General of Police in Jammu and Kashmir, S P Vaid.
In the previous three months, the Union Territory has seen hundreds of terror assaults. In the Kupwara district of North Kashmir, a gunfight recently occurred close to the Line of Control. The incident resulted in the death of a Pakistani intruder and the discovery of an enormous stockpile of weapons and ammunition in his possession. He may have been a commando in the Pakistan Army's SSG, which is regarded as the country's best-trained military unit, according to reports.
Security force officials stated that the Pakistan Army had given the order for the entire operation in Kupwara, which was executed by the Border Action Team (BAT).
''Adil Rehmani, GoC, SSG Commandos Pakistan Army has been organising and directing the infiltrators in Jammu and Kashmir. Over 600 SSG Commandos from the Pakistan Army have been earmarked and a large number of them have already sneaked into Jammu and Kashmir, and some are still trying to infiltrate. It is an act of war, and the motive behind this is to engage 15 and 16 corps of the Indian Army fully in the coveted war. There is one Lieutenant Colonel Shahid Saleem who has already reportedly infiltrated in Jammu and Kashmir. He has activated all the sleeper cells. Two more battalions are ready to sneak into this part of Jammu and Kashmir. It is a covert war and India's response should be swift, ''S P Vaid, a former Jammu Kashmir Police DGP, stated.
Not only the former DGP SP Vaid but also activist Amjad Ayub Mirza, has also made the same claims on social media.
From the United Kingdom, Mirza is a human rights activist, writer, and broadcaster. He wrote on X ''1. Allegedly SSG General Officer Commanding (GOC) Maj General Adil Rehmani is conducting the attacks in Jammu region. 2. one whole SSG battalion is said to have infiltrated that means at least 600 commandos are in Kupwara region and elsewhere. 3. Local jihadi sleeper cells are active and assist in SSG movement inside Indian territory. 4. Lt Col. Shahid Saleem Janjua is right now in the Indian territory of Jammu commanding the attacks. 5. their focus is to engage Indian army’s 15 Corps. 6. two more battalions of SSG are in Muzaffarabad ready to enter Indian territory via Jammu and Kashmir.''
About 70–80 foreign terrorists are believed to be present in the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory, according to the Jammu and Kashmir Police.
The numbers are significantly greater if the latest claims are to be believed. Also included are the districts of Poonch, Kishtwar, Kathua, and Doda in Jammu, as well as Kupwara, Handwara, and Bandipora in the northern section of the Kashmir Valley. This implies that security personnel will need to be vigilant as they take on a challenging mission in the upcoming months.
Terrorists with advanced training and equipped with the newest weapons, such as Chinese A56 assault rifles and M4 assault rifles are carrying out assaults in Jammu and Kashmir. It means that the weapons that the US troops left behind in Afghanistan have now made their way to Jammu and Kashmir.
The fact that these terrorists are not using technology that can be tracked, like phones, is among the most crucial features. The terrorists don’t use phones with SIM cards but communicate via radio frequency messengers and ultra sets that are impenetrable. It is also extremely rare for these terrorists to deploy Over Ground Workers (OGW) and visit villages.
