A very simple Formula can solve the American puzzle and help clear their minds about Pakistan and whether Pakistan is their friend or enemy.
Put the facts and figures from the past 15 years and ask yourself, dear America!!! Compare the financial, technical and military support that you have provided to Pakistan with Pakistan’s inability to take action against Jihadist extremist groups and their leaders.
1: Please start counting your soldiers when they first landed in Afghanistan in 2001. How many of them escaped land mines and suicide bombings and how many of them were killed while serving your country? This was where the deaths of your soldier's were celebrated apparently in GHQ Islamabad and Taliban hideouts in Peshawar, Quetta, Rawalpindi.
Friends never celebrate and cheer deaths of those who are sent to protect you but Pakistan did and still doing it and calling it a Jihad against ‘Kuffar’ the infidels!!
2: How many Al Qaida foot soldiers and top agenda makers were arrested by General Musharraf and how many were given the title of "Hero" during his regime??
3: Osama Bin Laden, the head of Al Qaida against whom Pakistan was feeding wrong information but in reality well fed as a distinguished guest of the ISI for 10 years!! Do your friends hide and cater to your enemy?
4: Dr. Shakeel Afridi, the brave Doctor who helped located Osama is still behind the bars. This brave man helped your country find Usama Bin Laden but how was he rewarded???
5: Hafiz Mohammad Saeed is openly preaching Jihad against US, UK, India, Afghanistan and other Western countries but at the same time he continues to enjoy protocol and immunity by the ISI and Pakistan army.
6: After having occupied the sovereign state of Balochistan for over 65 years, it has handed over the strategically important port of "Gwadar" to your rival "China" which in turn is building a naval port and installing anti-ballistic missiles in the region.
7: When America supported Pakistan by giving them millions of dollars for the eradication of terrorism, Pakistan in turn used those millions of financial aid and military assistance against your own troops in Afghanistan and supported extremists such as ISIS.
If you ask this question to a child about Pakistan and its role in the region he/she will confidently say that Pakistan is the NO.1 enemy of the civilized and aspiring world. Pakistan hasn’t even spared the holy places for Muslims, Mecca and Jeddah in their overt and covert scheme of spread terror across the world. The suicide bomber who struck outside the US Consulate in Jeddah was a Pakistani resident in Saudi Arabia. But then, doesn’t America have ears on the ground everywhere in the world!!!!
According to recent reports, dozens of Pakistani terrorists were apprehended by Saudi authorities in connection to attacks in Jeddah and other cities. Some of them are reported to have connection with ISIS and possibly obtained training by ISI, the Pakistani Intelligence organization.
The Baloch and Afghan Appeal to the people of America, Europe, Russia and India
The Baloch request American lawmakers, legislators, officials and private aid agencies to immediately cut aid and assistance to Pakistan. We appeal and beseech you to take notice of its war crimes in Afghanistan and Balochistan. There is a need to aggressively lobby the congress to revoke Pakistan’s membership from the UN dues to her numerous failures to obey international laws and ethics of war. Its army has crossed all records of human right abuses in Balochistan by abducting 20000 Baloch unarmed civilians and by killing more than 5000 of them in the custody.
Recommendations:
1: USA and NATO member states must cut off military and financial aid because even after 15 years of operations in the AF-Pak region, Pakistan has failed to curb extremism. Aiding Pakistan further will be a monumental blunder for those pursuing world peace and regional stability.
2: US, NATO, India and other world powers must establish contact with the resistance leadership of Balochistan and establish diplomatic, political and economic ties with them.
3: International community must supply arms and ammunition to Baloch resistance fighters so they can defend themselves from aggression and incessant attacks by Jihadist groups. The Baloch freedom movement just like the Kurds will enable Baloch resistance to defend their borders from Pakistani infiltrators. A Militarily strong Baloch movement will play a vital role to keep all religious and extremist terrorists in check.
4: Include Balochistan’s resistance leadership in decision making about the region because without their consent no policy will be effective.
5: Governments must start intelligence sharing on a broader level and provide technology whereby they are able coordinate and assist regional powers in the broader war against terrorism.
6: NGO’s and UN missions must take the initiative to support Baloch masses in their uphill battle for the eradication of poverty and unemployment.
7: International Broadcasting Services should take measures to provide Baloch people the opportunity to have Balochi language radio and TV services. A population of 40 million Balochi speakers are deprived of the right to broadcast in their own native language.
These steps are well known and widely circulated. However, unless the Kurds, Baloch and Afghans who aspire for a better humanity are supported by the global community, this battle will continue to be one sided. Not from a resource perspective but from a narrative perspective. The world must unite to support these communities. It is not too late yet!
