Jobs portal Apna inks MoU with MP government, aims to create 100,000 jobs annually

Apna.co, a jobs and professional networking platform, has signed an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with the Directorate of Employment, Government of Madhya Pradesh, during the Invest Madhya Pradesh Summit. This partnership aims to create 100,000 job opportunities and support large-scale employment and workforce development across the state.
According to a release from Apna.co, the collaboration with the Directorate of Employment, Department of Technical Education, Skill Development, and Employment would generate 100,000 job openings per year across a variety of industries, including retail, BFSI, IT, manufacturing, logistics, and healthcare. Gautam Tetwal, the Minister of State for Skill Development and Employment, and Inder Singh Parmar, the Minister of State for School Education marked their attendance during the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding. "Through this collaboration, millions of job seekers across Madhya Pradesh will gain free access to a diverse range of job opportunities through Apna," it said. The initiative provides a special pro bono package for the 38 lakh registered MSMEs in the state.
Each MSME will get Rs 2,000 in credits, which can be used to post one free job listing and view candidate profiles. This will help simplify the hiring process and support businesses in growing and succeeding. "By contributing 100,000 job opportunities annually and offering exclusive pro bono benefits to 38 lakh MSMEs, we are set to drive transformative economic growth," said Nirmit Parikh, Founder and CEO of Apna.co. Additionally, the press release stated that the Directorate of Employment will make use of district employment offices, MSME groups, Common Service Centres (CSCs), and digital platforms to enhance outreach and awareness campaigns.
The initiative aims to provide Madhya Pradesh's youth with better access to job opportunities by connecting job seekers and recruiters through digital platforms. Using Apna's AI-powered job matching technology, it ensures faster and more relevant job matches.
