The filing of an FIR against Prajwal Revanna and his father, HD Revanna, marks a significant escalation in the legal proceedings related to the allegations of sexual abuse. The sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) under which they are charged, including Sections 354A, 354D, 506, and 509, cover offenses related to sexual harassment, criminal intimidation, and insulting the modesty of a woman. According to the complaint, the victim alleges that both HD Revanna and Prajwal Revanna sexually assaulted her. She further claimed that when Revanna's wife was absent, he made inappropriate advances and engaged in sexual assault. Additionally, the complainant stated that Prajwal Revanna displayed rude behavior towards her and behaved inappropriately with her daughter during a video call. "After receiving repeated calls, my daughter eventually blocked his number," the complainant was quoted as saying by ANI.
