JCBL’s Mobility Solutions bags ₹100 crore contract from Indian Railways

In an exciting development, Mobility Solutions Ltd (MSL) announced on Wednesday that it has successfully secured a lucrative contract worth Rs 100 crore from Indian Railways. The contract entails the delivery and installation of several crucial components for the esteemed Vande Bharat Express.
MSL has already commenced the process of delivering and fulfilling the order, as stated in their official statement.
MSL, a subsidiary of the diversified JCBL Group, specializes in the production of a wide range of railway interior solutions, including FRP (fibre-reinforced plastic), GRP (glass-reinforced plastic), sheet metal, and various other materials.
As per the contract, MSL would supply eight pieces of the nose cone, 16 rakes of interior paneling with toilets and 16 coaches per rake, the company said.
The entire scope of work includes the development, supply, and installation of FRP interior panels for the roof, side, walls, and partitions, toilet with doors, accessories, roller blinds, and other critical equipment, it said.
Furthermore, the company expressed that its production units are operating at full capacity, ensuring swift progress for the delivery, which is scheduled to be completed within the ongoing financial year. The manufacturing and installation processes are being carried out at the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) located in Chennai.
“As more and more Vande Bharat trains start running, there is an urgent need to deliver high-quality components for assembling them,” said Rishi Aggarwal, Managing Director of JCBL Group.
According to the company, the recent contract from Indian Railways is geared towards augmenting the overall efficiency, reliability, and safety standards of the esteemed Vande Bharat Express.
MSL specializes in the manufacturing of pre-assembled sub-components such as seats, windows, bus components, FRP/GRP parts, and more.
Additionally, the company has outlined its intentions to offer customized solutions for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and government organizations, serving as a reliable supplier of alternative materials to replace conventional counterparts.
