In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the Indian Consulate in New York stated, "As part of the initiative to support Indian students in its jurisdiction, @IndiainNewYork has developed a platform for Indian Students to find internship opportunities at companies in the USA."
This platform is designed to streamline the internship search process for Indian students, enhancing their prospects and support during their educational and professional pursuits in the United States.

The Consulate in New York announced that several Indian and American companies and organizations have agreed to consider deserving Indian students for internship opportunities through the Indian Student Resource Portal.
According to the US Embassy in India's release in November last year, for the third consecutive year, a record number of Indian students travelled to the United States for higher education. The Open Doors Report (ODR) revealed a notable 35% increase in the number of international students from India studying in the United States, reaching an all-time high of 268,923 students during the academic year 2022-23.
Indian students now constitute more than 25% of the total over one million foreign students studying in the United States, underscoring their significant presence and contribution to the academic and cultural landscape of American universities.
