India launches DHRUV64, first home-grown 64-bit dual-core microprocessor

Developed indigenously by the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) under the Microprocessor Development Programme (MDP), the chip marks the country’s first 1.0 GHz, 64-bit dual-core microprocessor.
