On 9th December, Imran Khan showed his concerns over Citizenship Bill of India and called it as violation of human rights. And as usual, he used word ‘fascist’ in his tweet.
CAB is not violation of human rights but it is for human rights of minorities who are feeling prosecution, conversion and threats in Islamic republics. There are many minorities living in India who came in 20th century and still seeking citizenship for their bright future.
CAB could have been easily avoided if Pakistan were successful in doing these simple things:
Stopping persecution and conversion of Non-Muslims:-
Deen Muhammad Sheikh alone converted 108,000 people to Islam, during interval of 1989 to 2012. He took help of retired generals of his country. Just think what the big number is…
Also, European Parliament also cited report of MSP which says that every year 1000 non-Muslim girls have been converted to Islam by use of force and government machinery. Hindus have been reduced to 1.6% whereas they were 23% at the time of independence.
Have Imran or his country ever saw serious concern over this issue?
Votes and rights of Non-Muslims:-
It was none other than Pakistan which didn’t give voting rights to some minorities of till 2002. Lack of voting rights simple means to avoidance of their problems by Pakistani politicians.
Let’s move on. Till 2017, marriages of Hindus were not even recognised by Pakistani system and they didn’t have any identity card or documentation for it.
This was direct benefit of the fundamentalists who want to let those women forcibly convert by marrying them because family of women were not able to prove her relation with them.
Still, Christians don’t have latest marriage act. They have marriage act which of 1872 which was drafted by Brits in British India.
In Punjab and Balochistan, ‘Islamiat’ is still part of school curriculum which is compulsory for all students. Till 2016, similar rule existed for Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunwa until they provided them alternative subject ‘ethics’. Still, teachers and books of ethics are not available which indirectly forces student to learn Islamic studies.
To become president in Imran, one condition is must require and that is to be Muslim. Why can’t Imran amend the article 41(2) of his constitution which will allow any Pakistani citizen to hold the top most position of Pakistan?
Blasphemy:-
Ohh, blasphemy. In Pakistan, Governor of Punjab, Salman Taseer was shot dead by his bodyguard in 2011. Reason? Just because he dared to speak in favour of blasphemy accused Asia Bibi.
Pakistan is the country where 89 people who were accused of Blasphemy were killed in 1989 to 2014. Blasphemy is the oxygen for Islamic zealots and bigots of Pakistan to snatch the properties and lives of minorities.
Let’s take example of Ayub Masih, a Christian who was accused by his neighbour that he was supporting Salman Rushdie. Court sentenced him to death for blasphemy. His neighbour snatched all his properties. However, Ayub was able to prove in the Supreme Court and he was saved.
This is just normal cause and working in Pakistan to harass the minorities living in the country. Pakistan has thousands of blasphemy cases pending and which are used against the minorities and atheists to suppress their lives.
Now, an important question is where all these prosecuted people will go and seek asylum? India is natural home for all of them.
If CAB is against the human rights of minorities then why can’t Imran Khan introduce a similar bill in his senate? Why can’t he open up his doors for ‘fearful’ minorities of ‘fascist Hindu supremacist’ India? Let’s see how many people will go to his country.
CAB is nothing but the living example of failure of Islamic Republic of Pakistan to save and protect their minorities. If Imran Khan or his country had ever showed serious concern over the minority affairs then India had never introduced such bill.
