IAF successfully concludes 'Devil Strike' exercise

The Indian Armed Forces successfully completed Exercise Devil Strike, a joint, high-intensity exercise that took place from January 16 to 19.
This exercise, a collaboration between the Indian Army’s elite airborne troops and the Indian Air Force, demonstrated smooth teamwork, operational skill, and the ability to work in difficult environments, as stated in an official press release. The exercise, conducted in Training Areas and Firing Ranges, aimed to validate complex airborne operations. It focused on the precise insertion of troops and equipment into challenging and hostile terrains. Additionally, it tested and improved logistic support strategies to ensure troops could operate effectively in extreme conditions.
The exercise featured several key highlights: the use of advanced technologies and modern equipment for accurate and efficient deployment of forces to remote areas; perfectly coordinated airborne drills showcasing seamless teamwork between the Army and Air Force; and the successful execution of mission scenarios that mimicked real-world operational challenges. Lieutenant General Zubin A. Minwala, AVSM, YSM, GOC 33 Corps, who watched the exercise, praised the professionalism and flexibility of the participating units. Speaking about the exercise, he commented, "Exercise Devil Strike has once again demonstrated our Armed Forces' ability to adapt, innovate, and operate as a cohesive unit in diverse operational scenarios. It reflects our commitment to maintaining readiness for future challenges."
Joint operational capabilities have been greatly improved by the exercise, which has also confirmed the Indian Armed Forces' readiness to defend the country's interests and successfully counter any new threats. The press statement said that Exercise Devil Strike represents another significant milestone in the continuous efforts to uphold operational excellence and guarantee the security of the country.
