Amid India-Pakistan tensions, a resurfaced video of ex-CIA officer Bruce Riedel claims Pakistan is the world’s biggest sponsor of terrorism. He states that ISI, Lashkar-e-Taiba, and Jaish-e-Mohammed are not separate from Pakistan's army—they’re part of the same network. Riedel explains how the US backed Pakistan’s military dictators during the 70s–80s to counter the Soviets in Afghanistan. But once done, they abandoned them. After the Soviet withdrawal in 1989, these terrorists turned to India, fueling violence in Punjab and Kashmir.
