Elon Musk’s AI company, xAI, has launched a new feature called Vision for its Grok chatbot. This feature lets the chatbot understand and analyse real-world objects, text and surroundings using the camera on a user’s phone in real time. 

Grok Vision is available for free on both Android and iOS devices and works similarly to features already offered by OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Google Gemini. Grok officially made the announcement on the update on X (formerly Twitter), stating: “I am all ears (and eyes). Share your world with me.” Along with Grok Vision, xAI also introduced two new features: multilingual audio and real-time search in Voice Mode. 

The multilingual feature enables Grok to respond in different languages like Hindi, Spanish, and Japanese. The voice search feature lets users ask questions out loud, and Grok will find the latest information and read it back to them. The SuperGrok plan, priced at $30 per month, currently offers these features, though it's unclear if they will be available to non-subscribers in the future. 

In addition, Grok has recently added a memory feature that allows it to remember past interactions. This helps it provide more personalised and context-aware responses by better understanding individual user preferences over time, according to xAI.
