The Citizenship Amendment Bill was passed by both the Houses of Parliament on the 11th December 2019 which came to be known as the Citizenship Amendment Act or the CAA. This Act offered Indian Citizenship to religiously persecuted minorities in three of India’s neighboring Muslim majority countries namely Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan. The Act does not apply to Indian Citizens thereby making it clear that Indian Muslims had nothing to fear at all. However, the Left along with the Jihadis exploited the fear of the Muslim community, which may have had its roots ever since the Modi Government was sworn-in for the second consecutive term, to engage in violent protests which later on resulted in the massive rioting in Delhi during February 2020.
The motive for the Delhi riots, the riots, its hidden agenda and the lessons for the Nation is elucidated brilliantly in the book titled “Delhi Riots 2020 – The Untold Story” authored by Monika Arora, Sonali Chitalkar and Prerna Malhotra.
The book reveals and demolishes the false narrative spread by the Left-Urban Naxal-Maoist-Jihadi combine. Delhi riots was projected to be the result of the anti-CAA protests. However, the untold story, explained in graphic details, is the Left-Urban Naxal-Maoist-Jihadi nexus to incite the minority community to destabilize an elected Government to extract revenge by adding fuel to the fire in the form of pent up frustration and emotions against various positive developments that were then seen in the Nation.
Any riot is a result of a grievance and dissent which acts as the motive for a particular section of the people or a community at large. It is a reaction fueled by a motive and aided by vested interest groups – in this case the Left-Urban Naxal-Maoist-Jihadi combine.
The authors very clearly bring out the motive that was behind the Delhi riots 2020 and it was definitely not the CAA alone! The CAA was only a veil. The motive is much deeper and sinister. The authors reveal chilling details through their excellent research, interaction with the affected and impeccable sources of information and documents.
The authors prove the motives behind the riots in no uncertain terms. On 23rd May 2019 the BJP led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) swept the National Elections with a bigger mandate for a second term of five years with the BJP alone amassing 303 seats out of a total 353 seats won by the NDA. The mandate was clear and unambiguous. Narendra Modi as leader of the BJP and the NDA was sworn in for the second term as the Prime Minister of India and he had a host of electoral promises to fulfill. Termed as the “Hindu Nationalist” Government (pro-Hindu) a lot was desired and expected in terms of policy changes enabling National unity and promises towards uplifting the spirits of the majority community as well, because of whose support and votes, a thumping majority was achieved.
The first of such policy was the passing of the bill to abolish the practice of ‘triple talaq’ on 30th July 2019. The second and most daring of all came on the 5th August 2019 when Article 370 was abrogated bringing the state of Jammu and Kashmir on par with other states and union territories of India. Jammu and Kashmir no more enjoyed the special status it was granted.
On 9th November 2019 in a historic judgement the Supreme Court of India ruled that the hitherto disputed site of Ayodhya was the birthplace of Bhagwan Ram. This judgement paved the way for the construction of a Ram Temple, the centuries old dream of every Hindu.
Certainly, the above events beginning from 23rd May 2019 ending with the enactment of the Citizenship Amendment Act on 11th December 2019 would have made the Muslim community ‘uneasy’ (as claimed by the Left-Urban Naxal-Maoist-Jihadi combine) and this ‘uneasiness’ was well exploited by the Left-Urban Naxal-Maoist-Jihadi combine. Propaganda machinery of this ‘combine’ engaged in spreading fake narratives regarding the contents of the CAA added fuel to the fire of anger of this minority Muslim community.
The authors explain in detail the agenda of the Urban Naxals by quoting the “STIR – Strategy and Tactics of the Indian Revolution” document of the Naxals. The ultimate aim of these Naxals is to achieve an Indian (Communist) Revolution. The authors have done extremely well to explain this in great detail quoting various other documents and sources. The extent of the spread of the tentacles of Urban Naxals is brought out very clearly and is a cause of great concern for the Nation as a whole. A quote is attributed to Dr. Manmohan Singh, former Prime Minister of India, who says -
“it would not be an exaggeration to say that the problem of Naxalism is the single biggest internal security challenge ever faced by our Country”.
How true this is turning out to be!
The more disturbing revelation is the dangerous nexus between the Urban Naxals and the Left, Maoists and the Jihadis. The authors explain that this Left-Urban Naxal-Maoist-Jihadi model was applied at all sites of anti-CAA protests across the country but it succeeded in Delhi being the hotbed of Urban Naxals and Jihadi elements. An entire chapter is dedicated on this nexus and their activities and agenda.
Extensive on the ground research by the authors is evident in every chapter of the book, be it the reporting on the actual riots, the planning and the modus-operandi, the place of protests, their selection, the people behind the agitation, their profile, the victims who bore the brunt of the violence, their pain, their grief, their loss, or be it in establishing the motive and revealing the hidden agenda and conspiracies. Each and every assertion is based on facts. What the book brings out very clearly and in no uncertain terms is definitely a cause for grave concern as it affects the very integrity of our Nation. Some of the findings are:
- The ‘Shaheen Bagh Model’ of choking the City and rioting: The authors explain vividly how much of a trouble, pain and suffering it is to the population if a city like Delhi is choked from all directions. They opine that this is only a prelude. Well, the first proof of this was the Bangalore riots during August 2020. At the time of writing this review, even the strategy of the farmer’s protest was to block the entry points to the city of Delhi which proves the authors’ conclusion.
- Educational institutions namely universities and schools will be extensively used and were used. JNU, Jamia Millia etc., are the cases in point. People of eminence in Arts, Culture, Literature, Science etc., were openly supporting the rioters and their handlers namely the Left-Urban Naxal-Maoist-Jihadi combine.
- Employing women and children at the protest sites as a shield is a jihadi strategy especially in Kashmir. It is now employed in the mainland.
- Left-Urban Naxal-Maoist-Jihadi combine conspire against the Nation by protesting under the garb of freedom of expression, freedom of speech and other fundamental rights granted by the Constitution of India.
- Copying the indoctrination and rioting methods employed by ISIS in war ravaged middle-east nations like Syria and implementing it at the protest sites.
The authors do provide various recommendations to the Union Government which one hopes will be implemented. The recent filing of charge sheet by the Delhi police proves the findings of the authors in many ways.
Kudos to the authors for their courage to bring out a book to demolish the Left based poisonous fake narrative and propaganda. After reading the book one can easily decipher as to why Bloomsbury India decided not to publish this book at the last moment, prior to the launch of the book and what made them to do so. Garuda Publications deserves special credit for publishing this book despite the backlash it might have faced. This book is a must read.
One can also conclude that the Left-Urban Naxal-Maoist-Jihadi combine needs to be decimated at the earliest and at whatever cost it may entail. They are the main “Breaking India” force at this moment widening their tentacles too far. The earlier they are defeated, the good it is for the integrity of India as also the survival of the majority.
