"Bengal" was one of the highlights of the story of 2019 parliament election. In fact, Bengal has always had a special place for BJP. Be it the association with the founder of Jana Sangh Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Ji, the ideologue of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Swami Vivekananda, or be it names like Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay, Aurobindo Ghosh et al, this land has had a unique connection with saffron ideology for ages. However, post-independence, it only saw a gradual diminishing of that connect/influence driven by a plethora of misguided propaganda by communist leadership and recently by the TMC government.
But that being said, like every good thing, even bad things also have an expiry date, and as we speak, Bengal is witnessing that change in full swing. A paradigm shift for saffron is apparent, driven from villages to cities, poor to rich, bhadrolok to bhadromohilas-yes, it's a saffron juggernaut there, as Bengalis by and large have realized the existential threat they are facing. And when a passionate mass wakes up from its slumber- this is what exactly world witnesses! An underrepresented people's movement.
Yes, BJP in Bengal is not just a political party but a movement of aam aadmi, to safeguard the land, religion, heredity, and overall existence! Endless appeasement politics and political vendetta has pushed this amazingly intelligent race to the corner and here we are witnessing a final call- ‘Save the land by saffronizing Bengal’, as we call "Naba Banga"!
In this same historical background, we are all set to witness an extremely strategic move, where the top leadership from BJP are reaching out to best of the breed Bengalis spread across the globe! Those millions of supremely intelligent and proud Bengalis, who had to leave the shore, thanks to the brain drain governed by anti-industrialization in the state, is finally witnessing a change!
There is a lot of hope and finally, this Pravasi Bengali populace is seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. They strongly believe in the dream of new India that Shri. Narendra Modi ji has taken up and now this connect program is definitely going to be a game-changer as top brass from BJP, with likes of Shri. Kailash Vjayvargiya (national general secretary, BJP and Observer of West Bengal), Shri. Bizay Sonkar Shastri Ji ( national spokesperson), Shri. Amar Singh Ji (Rajya Sabha Member), and others are all set to meet all of those eminent NRI Bengalis at the heart of Silicon Valley!
This year they all are attending the biggest India day celebration in North America by Festival of Globe (FOG) in Silicon Valley. The three days of the gala event is a unique platform to connect the Indian Americans and America's local elected officials with the rich heritage and culture of India. With 50K plus attendees from all across Northern California, joining this event, not only showcases the cultures of states, but also creates a potpourri of global heritage from Russia, to China, and to the USA. It will be an amazing showcase of celebrating the spirit of humanity in the background of technology innovation and the world's most sort after wealth creators at Silicon Valley!
No wonder, this unique proposition of BJP's historic Bengal outreach couldn't have had a better set up and as expected, there is a huge interest and enthusiasm among local Indians. Moreover, since it's happening right before Shri. Narendra Modi Ji's visit to Houston and New York on 22nd September, significance of this event is even more. Judhajit Senmazumdar, Chairman of FOG Bengal and Overseas Friends of BJP's Bengal Co-Convener, a technology entrepreneur and Silicon Valley resident from almost 2 decades, who has his root in West Bengal and working among the NRI Bengali community for years, now, can't hide his happiness and enthusiasm.
There is an unprecedented interest among locals and all they want is a new resurgent Bengal. They believe in Narendra Modi Ji's vision and finally have the hope, that real "Poriborton" is just a matter of time! Some of them are scientists in NASA, technology entrepreneurs, doctors, lawyers, and engineers, but all have a single GOAL and dream of how to revive the glory of Bengal and help mother India. No wonder they see this outreach as a unique opportunity to meet the leadership and share the vision; they are all geared up and committed to bring best of investment and reverse bran drain as we witness the "Naba Banga" under the leadership of Shri. Narendra Modi Ji"!
Dr. Romesh Japra, a renowned heart surgeon and founder of FOG (Festival of Globe) also super excited as this great event brings the best of the political leadership from India! He recognizes the immense contribution these leaders have made for so many decades, as he said “Festival of Globe is all about Vasudeva Kutumbakam and as we reach thirty years, we are extremely pleased to bring the leadership of both the great democracies, USA and India together by showcasing an exhibition of culture, creativity, reflections, and traditions are the hallmarks of the grand parade. Grand marshals riding more than a hundred open cars along with over fifty colorful floats. The grand parade witnessed by over 50000 people will be held on August 18th in Fremont, CA, to celebrates the largest democracy of the World – India's Independence Day in the United States of America, the oldest democracy of the world."
Same emotion was echoed by Mr. Chandru Bhambra, president of BJP N.CA also, who was instrumental while hosting Modi Ji in Silicon valley and a veteran Swayamsevak and BJP activist. With top leadership coming in, it's a great opportunity for people of California to hear more on Modi Ji's vision for India and do everything possible to bolster it! We are expecting more than fifty thousand people to join the parade and almost everyone is requesting to meet the leadership.
Federation of India American board has decided to honor Shri. Kailash Vijayvargiya Ji as FOG Person of The Year for his immense contribution to Indian Politics and Shri. Bizay Sonkar Shastri and Amar Singh as FOG Inspiration of the Year for their decades of contribution in social upliftment.
