The mass shooting in New York City comes after an attack in New Orleans that killed 15 people. A gunman went on a shooting spree, killing at least 10 people in a small town in Montenegro on Wednesday, according to the police. This is one of the worst mass killings in the country’s history. The 45-year-old shooter, named Aleksandar Martinovic, opened fire at a restaurant in the town of Cetinje, killing four people. He then moved to three other places, where he shot and killed a family member, two children, and three more people.
Four others were seriously injured and are in critical condition. The suspect was at large near Cetinje, a small valley town encircled by rocky hills around 38 kilometres (23.6 miles) west of the Montenegrin capital Podgorica. According to media reports, the suspect had a history of illegally possessing weapons.
