    I was born 78 years ago in Srinagar Kashmir, and after graduating with Honours in English from the University of Delhi, studied business management at IIM, Calcutta, when this discipline was in its infancy in India. I belong to the second batch of the IIMC, from where I obtained my Post-Graduate Diploma in Management in the year 1967. Worked for five years in India and abroad with a multinational organization, and then started my own manufacturing and export enterprise. After 30 years as an entrepreneur, I decided to retire and moved to Coonoor in the Nilgiris in 2006. Have been leading a quiet, sedentary life in the hills enjoying the weather and the wonderful company of like-minded people. Occasional writer, mainly on socio-political topics, my blogs can be found on Medium, Opindia, and Facebook.
