One Sunday afternoon, my father encouraged me to watch this movie and to be frank I didn’t expect a lot from this movie but I was dazzled. It opened new perspectives about Lal Bahadur Shastri, the second prime minister of Independent India and his mysterious death .This also should also encourage children to read more about Shastri as it can educate them about his life and how they are being taught the wrong history at school. I anticipate a lot of people who watch this movie won’t know a lot about his life and this should hopefully educate viewers about it as well as watching the movie.
This movie is one of its kind, based on the conspiracy behind the death of Lal bahadur shastri, the second prime minister of independent India. This is one of the few movies which dares to expose the truth behind conspiracies and should deserve better overall reviews. The director should be given a round of applause for doing something so daring which is rarely done by any another filmmaker in this industry. Even though this movie was striking, but I expected it should have revealed more. One noticeable omission was hiding Indira Gandhi’s name at the end of the movie as it was seen in the book just before the showcase of the Mitrokhin archives up on the screen. However, this can still be ignored as its other elements make up for that Achilles heel in this movie.
This movie is worth watching and depicts that everything can be achieved if you put enough hard work into your goals. This movie could have suffered massive delays due to its theme but fortunately didn’t happen to collide with any obstacles on its way. Overall it’s a good striking movie with great use of drama and action at the right moment putting impactful effect on viewers. This movie deserves more praise as it has a definitive back story to it which is ignored by most people. After watching this movie I feel encouraged to read books about Biographies, Conspiracies and other Non-Fictional books to open perspectives on other personalities and events. I recommend everyone to watch this movie in the cinemas closest to you and trust me, it is worth it.
